As the Laboratory Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our laboratory, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of results.   1. Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
  2. Manage and direct the activities of laboratory staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  3. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of laboratory results.
  5. Identify and address any issues or concerns related to laboratory operations, including quality control and safety protocols.
  6. Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records for all laboratory activities and results.
  7. Stay current with industry trends, technology, and advancements in laboratory testing and recommend updates or changes as needed.
  8. Manage budgets and resources to optimize laboratory operations while maintaining cost-efficiency.
  9. Foster a positive work environment and provide leadership, guidance, and support to laboratory staff.
  10. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  11. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as physicians and vendors, to maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth operations.
  12. Continuously assess and improve laboratory processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  13. Communicate effectively with management and other departments to provide updates, address concerns, and make recommendations for improvement.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of all laboratory information and results.
  15. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Technology.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Laboratory Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Operations And Regulatory Requirements, Including Clia, Cap, And Joint Commission Standards.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Diverse Team Of Laboratory Staff.

  • Experience With Budget Management, Inventory Control, And Equipment Maintenance.
