- Provide high-quality pediatric physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises to promote carryover of therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on current research and best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team discussions and decision-making.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Prisma Health in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Attend and participate in relevant training and continuing education opportunities.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution.
Current State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In An Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.
Knowledge Of Pediatric Physical Therapy Techniques And Ability To Create Individualized Treatment Plans For Each Patient.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Comprehensive Care For Pediatric Patients.
