  1. Assist the inpatient pharmacy team with daily tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Gain hands-on experience in dispensing and preparing medications.
  3. Utilize pharmacy software systems to accurately process and fill medication orders.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure excellent customer service.
  6. Participate in medication inventory management and restocking processes.
  7. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to identify and resolve any medication-related issues.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Attend and actively participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of At Least One Year Of Pharmacy School: Candidates For This Position Must Have Completed At Least One Year Of An Accredited Pharmacy Program And Be In Good Academic Standing.

  • Active Pharmacy Intern License: All Applicants Must Possess A Valid Pharmacy Intern License In The State Where The Position Is Located.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medication Management: The Inpatient Pharmacy Intern Will Be Responsible For Assisting Pharmacists In Dispensing And Managing Medications For Patients. Therefore, A Strong Understanding Of Medication Therapy And Management Is Essential.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As An Integral Part Of The Pharmacy Team, The Inpatient Pharmacy Intern Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Pharmacy Staff.

  • Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In The Pharmacy Setting. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Strong Attention To Detail And Be Able To Perform Tasks With A High Level Of Accuracy And Precision.
