  1. Safely transport patients to and from imaging procedures, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  2. Assist with moving and positioning patients on stretchers and wheelchairs.
  3. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition during transport.
  4. Ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and maintained for efficient transport.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient transport.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing assistance and support as needed.
  7. Collaborate with imaging staff to ensure timely and efficient patient flow.
  8. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  9. Follow infection control and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  12. Handle and resolve any patient or family concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing Prisma Health in a positive manner.
  14. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
  15. Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  16. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Imaging Equipment: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Imaging Equipment, Such As X-Ray Machines, Mri Scanners, And Ct Scanners.

  • Medical Terminology: Familiarity With Medical Terminology Is Essential For An Imaging Assistant - Transport. This Includes Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Procedures.

  • Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Medical Staff, And Other Team Members.

  • Physical Ability: This Role Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Patients, As Well As Maneuver And Operate Imaging Equipment, So Physical Strength And Dexterity Are Important Qualifications.
