  1. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment and facilities to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any engineering needs or concerns related to patient care.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise, utilizing your engineering knowledge and experience.
  6. Use data and analytics to track and analyze equipment and facility performance, and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
  8. Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate repairs and installations as needed.
  9. Train and mentor other staff members on proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency within the engineering department.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth workflow and successful outcomes.
  12. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  14. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Prisma Health and the healthcare industry as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Engineering Principles And Practices, Including Project Management And Quality Control.

  • Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software And Other Relevant Engineering Tools.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Setting.
