- Perform a variety of electrophysiology procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
- Utilize specialized equipment and technology to accurately collect and analyze patient data during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly and appropriately to any changes or complications during procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the EP lab at all times.
- Educate patients and their families on the procedures and treatments being performed.
- Ensure all documentation and patient records are accurately completed and maintained.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in electrophysiology technology and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families throughout the procedure.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain professional standards and ethics at all times.
- Attend relevant training and educational opportunities to remain current in the field.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Related Field Or Completion Of An Accredited Electrophysiology Program.
Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Equivalent.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Electrophysiology Procedures, Including Catheter Ablation And Device Implantation.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Ep Equipment, Including Mapping Systems And Recording Devices.
Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Team Members.
