- Oversee and manage the daily clinical operations of the Orthopedics department.
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered with the highest level of quality and in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new clinical staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to clinical staff.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare teams to improve overall patient care and satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between the Orthopedics department and other areas of the organization, communicating and coordinating effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and work towards achieving departmental and organizational goals.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in orthopedic nursing and share knowledge with the team.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among all staff members.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Orthopedic Nursing
Current Rn License In The State Of Employment
