- Provide comprehensive orthotic support and rehabilitation services to athletes of all levels.
- Collaborate with other members of the sports medicine team to develop individualized treatment plans for athletes.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the specific orthotic needs of each athlete.
- Design and implement effective orthotic treatment plans to prevent and treat injuries.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention techniques and proper use of orthotic devices.
- Monitor athlete progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of athlete treatment and progress.
- Keep up-to-date with current research and advancements in orthotics and rehabilitation.
- Communicate regularly with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of athletes.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of athletic training services.
- Assist with the maintenance and organization of equipment and supplies.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to athletic training students and interns.
- Represent Prisma Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field From An Accredited Program
Certification From The Board Of Certification (Boc) For Athletic Trainers
Licensure As An Athletic Trainer In The State Of South Carolina
Experience Working With Orthotic Devices And Designing Customized Orthotics For Patients
