
Associate General Counsel - Supply Chain Management

- Oversee all legal matters related to the supply chain operations of the organization.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the leadership team and other departments regarding supply chain management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and review supply chain contracts and agreements to mitigate potential legal risks.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective processes.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to supply chain management.
- Advise on vendor and supplier relationships, including negotiating and drafting contracts.
- Handle any legal disputes or claims related to the supply chain, including managing outside counsel.
- Train and educate staff on legal and compliance issues related to supply chain management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and incorporate them into the organization's operations.
- Work closely with other members of the legal team to ensure consistency and alignment in legal strategies and decisions.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings and negotiations related to supply chain management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in the supply chain.
- Continuously evaluate and assess potential legal risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's mission and values and ensure all supply chain processes align with them.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain management for the legal team and provide training and guidance as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in supply chain management.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to supply chain management.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the organization and legal profession.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Active License To Practice Law In The State Of South Carolina.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Corporate Legal Role, With A Focus On Supply Chain Management And Healthcare Compliance.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Standards Related To Supply Chain Management In The Healthcare Industry.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Work Collaboratively With Internal And External Stakeholders.
