
Assistant Nurse Manager-Ambulatory

- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the ambulatory facilities, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flow.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed, and compliance with regulatory standards is maintained.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and development of new staff members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to patient care, staff performance, and facility operations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- Stay current with healthcare trends and best practices, incorporating them into the daily operations of the ambulatory facilities.
- Handle and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise among staff or patients in a professional and timely manner.
- Serve as a role model for compassionate and patient-centered care, promoting a positive work culture.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Attend meetings and trainings as required, staying informed about organizational updates and changes.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For The Position Of Assistant Nurse Manager-Ambulatory At Prisma Health. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Principles And Prepares Candidates For Leadership Roles In The Healthcare Industry.
Active Rn License: Candidates Must Hold A Valid And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of South Carolina In Order To Be Considered For The Assistant Nurse Manager-Ambulatory Position At Prisma Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Necessary Requirements And Is Legally Permitted To Practice Nursing In The State.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience: Prisma Health Requires Candidates For The Assistant Nurse Manager-Ambulatory Position To Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In An Ambulatory Care Setting. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of The Ambulatory Care Environment And Is Able To Effectively Manage And Lead A Team In This Setting.
Leadership And Management Experience: The Assistant Nurse Manager-Ambulatory Role At Prisma Health Requires Candidates To Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role.
