Job Description

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the anesthesia department, including scheduling, staffing, and resource management.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to anesthesia services.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of anesthesia providers, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the delivery of anesthesia services.
  5. Work collaboratively with other departments and providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
  6. Maintain a high level of clinical expertise and stay up-to-date on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technology.
  7. Act as a mentor and role model for anesthesia staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  8. Manage the budget for the anesthesia department, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
  9. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for the anesthesia department.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among anesthesia providers.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the anesthesia department and other departments within the healthcare facility.
  12. Ensure that patient satisfaction is a top priority and work to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance the delivery of anesthesia services.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports related to the anesthesia department's performance.
  15. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the department's operations as appropriate.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna).

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Current License And Certification As A Crna In The State Of Employment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Anesthesiology Practices, Procedures, And Equipment.
