Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution: This Degree Is Required For All Clinical Pharmacist Positions At Prisma Health, And Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Practice As A Pharmacist.
Current Pharmacist Licensure In The State Of South Carolina: A Valid And Active Pharmacist License Is A Must For Any Clinical Pharmacist Position At Prisma Health, As It Allows The Candidate To Legally Practice Pharmacy In The State.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In An Ambulatory Care Setting: This Qualification Is Essential To Demonstrate The Candidate's Familiarity With The Unique Challenges And Responsibilities Of Working In An Ambulatory Care Setting, Where Patients Are Seen On An Outpatient Basis.
Board Certification In Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (Bcacp): While Not A Requirement, Having This Certification From The Board Of Pharmacy Specialties (Bps) Is Highly Preferred For An Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist Position At Prisma Health. It Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Ambulatory Care Pharmacy.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist, The Candidate Will Be Working With A Diverse Group Of Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
