- Provide direct patient care: The Wound Treatment Associate will be responsible for providing direct care to patients with wounds, including wound assessment, cleaning, dressing changes, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress: The Wound Treatment Associate will be responsible for closely monitoring patient progress and documenting any changes or concerns in their condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: The Wound Treatment Associate will work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care and treatment.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment: The Wound Treatment Associate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized.

Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required, But A Post-Secondary Degree Or Certification In A Healthcare-Related Field Is Preferred. Candidates Should Also Have Completed Courses Or Training In Wound Care Management.
Experience: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Specifically In Wound Care, Is Highly Desirable. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Wound Assessment, Dressing Selection, And Infection Control Protocols.
Knowledge Of Wound Care Products And Equipment: Familiarity With Various Wound Care Products, Such As Dressings, Gauze, And Bandages, Is Essential. Candidates Should Also Have Experience With Wound Care Equipment, Such As Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (Npwt) Devices.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For This Role, As Wound Treatment Associates Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Ability To Explain Treatment Plans And Educate Patients On Wound Care Is Essential.
Attention To Detail: Wound Care Requires A High Level Of Precision And Attention To Detail. Candidates Should Have Excellent Observational Skills And Be Able To Document Wound Progress Accurately. They Should Also Be Able To Follow Treatment Protocols And Make Adjustments As Needed.
