  1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems and technology, including cameras, alarms, access control systems, and emergency response systems.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and tests of security equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues.
  3. Monitor security systems and respond to alarms or incidents in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
  5. Stay up-to-date with advancements in security technology and make recommendations for improvements to the system.
  6. Train and educate staff on security procedures and protocols.
  7. Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents and provide detailed reports.
  8. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents, equipment maintenance, and training.
  10. Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for security improvements.
  11. Ensure compliance with all security regulations and standards.
  12. Respond to security-related inquiries or concerns from patients, staff, and visitors.
  13. Act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide support to staff and patients.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all security matters.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve security procedures to adapt to changing threats and risks.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Security Systems: A Security Technician At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Security Systems, Such As Access Control, Cctv, And Alarm Systems. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Latest Technology In The Security Industry.

  • Experience In Installation And Maintenance: Candidates For This Role Should Have Hands-On Experience In Installing And Maintaining Security Systems, Including Troubleshooting And Repairing Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations: Presbyterian Healthcare Services Is A Healthcare Organization, So The Security Technician Should Have A Good Understanding Of Hipaa Regulations And Other Compliance Requirements Related To Protecting Sensitive Patient Information.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Security Technician Will Work Closely With Other Members Of The Security Team And Various Departments Within The Organization. They Should Possess Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Coordinate Security Efforts.

  • Physical And Technical Aptitude: This Role May Require The Security Technician To Climb Ladders, Lift Heavy Equipment, And Work In Confined Spaces. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Computer Networks, Wiring, And Other Technical Skills To Effectively Install And Maintain Security Systems.
