  1. Provide timely and effective care to patients with urgent medical needs.
  2. Assess and triage patients upon arrival to determine the urgency of their condition.
  3. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor patient's vital signs and response to treatments.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  8. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
  9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  10. Keep current with advances in nursing practices and procedures.
  11. Handle emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
  14. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  15. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and ordering supplies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Candidate For An Rn - Urgent Care Position At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience: Presbyterian Healthcare Services Requires Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In An Urgent Care Setting.

  • Bls And Acls Certifications: The Candidate Must Have Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills: As An Rn In Urgent Care, The Candidate Must Be Able To Make Quick And Effective Decisions In High-Pressure Situations. Strong Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills Are Essential For This Role.
