- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department/Urgent Care facility.
- Assess and triage patients, ensuring proper prioritization and intervention for urgent medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventative measures.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Valid Rn License In The State Of New Mexico: Candidates Must Hold A Current And Active Rn License In The State Of New Mexico, Which Ensures That They Have Met All The Necessary Requirements And Qualifications To Practice Nursing In The State.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Emergency Department Or Urgent Care Setting: This Position Requires A Strong Background In Emergency Nursing, With At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Fast-Paced, High-Volume Ed Or Uc Setting. This Experience Will Help Ensure The Candidate Can Handle The Demands Of A 24/7 Ed/Uc Role.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications: As This Position Involves Providing Critical And Emergency Care, Candidates Must Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls), And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Rn In This Role Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing High-Quality Patient Care And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment.
Ability To Work Rotating Shifts And Weekends: As This Position Involves Working In A 24/7 Ed/Uc Setting, Candidates Must Be Willing And Able To Work Rotating Shifts And Weekends As Needed. This May Include Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. Flexibility In Scheduling Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.
