
RN - Pediatric Hematology Oncology
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Hematology Oncology department at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. This role is a great opportunity for a dedicated RN to provide quality care to our pediatric patients in a supportive and encouraging environment.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a pediatric setting, along with a strong understanding of hematology and oncology treatments. The RN will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a strong sense of teamwork. An ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. The RN should also possess a positive attitude, be compassionate and sensitive to our patients and their families, and have a strong commitment to providing the highest quality of care. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments to pediatric patients in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.
- Monitor patient vital signs and record patient's medical history.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Educate patients and families about the diagnosis, treatments, medications, and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for pediatric patients.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric hematology oncology.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient care.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team

A Valid New Mexico Rn License
Bsn Degree
+ Years Of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nursing Experience
