Job Description

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is looking for a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Wound Clinic team. As an RN in this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional wound care that meets the highest standards of quality.We understand that to provide the best care, it takes a special kind of person with unique qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as an RN, a current and valid RN license in the state of New Mexico, and a strong understanding of wound care and the healing process. In addition to experience in the medical field, we are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills who is able to collaborate with a variety of healthcare workers in a professional and courteous manner.If you are a compassionate and detail-oriented RN who has a genuine desire to help others, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality wound care to patients according to the highest standards of quality.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  4. Monitor patients for changes in their condition and respond accordingly.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients, families, and other staff.
  6. Maintain accurate and complete medical records and document all patient care.
  7. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding wound care.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and policies.
  9. Maintain current and valid RN license in the state of New Mexico.
  10. Remain up-to-date on wound care advancements and best practices.
