- Develop and implement strategies to maximize reimbursement for services provided by the organization.
- Manage and oversee the reimbursement process for all healthcare services, including billing, collections, and appeals.
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare reimbursement policies and regulations and ensure compliance with all guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and proper documentation.
- Review contracts and negotiate reimbursement rates with insurance companies and third-party payers.
- Train and supervise reimbursement staff to ensure accurate and efficient processes.
- Monitor and analyze reimbursement trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and insurance companies, advocating for fair reimbursement and resolving any issues or disputes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to reimbursement activities.
- Communicate with patients and their families to address any questions or concerns related to reimbursement.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting of reimbursement data.
- Continuously evaluate and improve reimbursement processes to increase efficiency and reduce denials.
- Participate in audits and assist with the development of corrective action plans as needed.
- Represent the organization in meetings and negotiations with insurance companies and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and data security.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Reimbursement, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Organization.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Billing And Coding Processes, Including Medicare And Medicaid Regulations.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Identify Trends.
Proven Experience In Managing A Team And Effectively Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Insurance Companies And Government Agencies.
