  1. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines set by local, state, and federal agencies.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments of clinical practices and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  5. Provide education and training to staff on regulatory standards and best practices.
  6. Stay up-to-date on changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to relevant staff.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Serve as a resource for staff regarding regulatory compliance and quality improvement efforts.
  9. Participate in regulatory surveys and audits, and ensure timely and accurate completion of required documentation.
  10. Investigate and respond to any regulatory complaints or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records related to regulatory compliance.
  12. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies to improve overall quality of care.
  13. Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies, providing necessary documentation and information as needed.
  14. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and committees to promote quality improvement initiatives.
  15. Continuously strive to uphold the highest standards of quality and patient safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn Licensure In The State Of New Mexico With A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field, Or Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards And Guidelines, Including Joint Commission, Cms, And State-Specific Regulations.

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Quality Improvement Processes And Experience With Data Analysis And Interpretation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Provide Education To Staff On Regulatory Standards And Quality Initiatives.
