Job Description

As a Psychologist at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, you will be a key part of our team, providing comprehensive psychological assessments and treatments to individuals, couples, and families. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and will be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for your patients. We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated professional to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.To be successful in this role, you must possess a Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an APA accredited program, a valid state license to practice Psychology, and have at least two years of experience in a clinical setting. You must also demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent decision making skills. It is essential that you are comfortable with diverse populations and are willing to embrace the principles of patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and treatments to individuals, couples, and families.
  2. Establish a safe and supportive environment for patients.
  3. Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Work independently and make sound decisions.
  5. Be comfortable with diverse populations and embrace the principles of patient-centered care.
  6. Maintain a valid state license to practice Psychology.
  7. Keep up with the latest developments in psychology.
  8. Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and clinical guidelines.
  9. Prepare and submit reports and other materials as required.
  10. Participate in professional development activities.
