- Develop and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers in the network.
- Negotiate and manage provider contracts to ensure the best possible terms for the organization.
- Monitor provider performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the network meets the needs of our members.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in healthcare systems to inform decision-making.
- Provide guidance and support to providers regarding billing, claims, and other administrative processes.
- Serve as a liaison between providers and the organization to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Communicate with providers on a regular basis to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Analyze data and reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to provider network management.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand and diversify the provider network.
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to promote our network and services.
- Train and mentor junior staff members in provider network management practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement initiatives to improve the overall performance of the provider network.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all provider contracts and communications.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures within the provider network management department.
- Adhere to the organization's mission, vision, and values in all interactions with providers and colleagues.
- Travel to meet with providers and attend conferences and meetings as needed.
- Complete all required training and education to maintain knowledge and skills in provider network management.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Provider Network Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Organization.
Strong Understanding Of Provider Reimbursement Methodologies And Contract Negotiations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Build And Maintain Relationships With Providers.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Hipaa And Cms Guidelines.
