Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• At least one year of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• Knowledge of pharmacy information systems, such as EPIC• Ability to multitask and prioritize job duties• Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities: • Greet and assist pharmacy customers in a friendly and professional manner • Answer customer inquiries and provide guidance on prescription medications • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently • Prepare medication orders for pharmacist review • Maintain accurate records of patient profiles and prescription orders • Monitor inventory levels and restock pharmaceutical supplies • Assist in the training of new pharmacy technicians • Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations and laws • Support the team in ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations • Assist in resolving customer issues and disputes • Ensure the safe and secure handling of medications and supplies • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
