- Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacy Tech II will be responsible for accurately and efficiently dispensing medications to patients in the outpatient specialty pharmacy.
- Patient Care: The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Tech II will be providing exceptional patient care by addressing any questions or concerns from patients and ensuring their needs are met.
- Teamwork: The Pharmacy Tech II will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including pharmacists and other technicians, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Attention to Detail: The Pharmacy Tech II must have a strong attention to detail to accurately and safely dispense medications and ensure patient safety.
- Record-Keeping: The Pharmacy Tech II will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all medications dispensed and any other required documentation.
- Inventory Management: The Pharmacy Tech II will assist with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications and supplies.
- Compliance: The Pharmacy Tech II will ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and standards related to medication dispensing and patient care.
- Training and Education: The Pharmacy Tech II may be responsible for training and educating new pharmacy technicians and providing ongoing education to the team.

- Patient and Community Advocacy: The Pharmacy Tech II will advocate for patients
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Or Equivalent Certification.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In An Outpatient Or Specialty Pharmacy Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Prescription Processing, Medication Therapy Management, And Medication Reconciliation.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Insurance Companies.
Proficient In Using Pharmacy Software And Technology, Such As Electronic Health Records And Automated Dispensing Systems.
