  1. Provide expert medical care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill children, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure understanding and collaboration in the treatment process.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  6. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  7. Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in pediatric medical care, and incorporate them into practice.
  8. Provide guidance and support to junior staff, including residents and medical students.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  10. Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and holistic care to patients.
  13. Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
  14. Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in pediatric medicine.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Pediatric Intensivist Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

  • Residency And Fellowship Training: Completion Of A Residency In Pediatrics And A Fellowship In Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Is Required.

  • State Licensure: Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of Practice.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Is Preferred.
