Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As an OB/GYN Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our patients.   1. Provide comprehensive care to pregnant women and gynecologic patients admitted to the hospital.
  2. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  3. Monitor and manage labor and delivery, including performing vaginal deliveries and assisting with C-sections.
  4. Conduct thorough patient assessments and make evidence-based treatment decisions.
  5. Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and women's health issues.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and procedures.
  7. Respond to emergencies and provide emergency care when necessary.
  8. Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
  9. Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe patient care.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines.
  11. Stay current with advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions.
  13. Provide support and guidance to medical residents and students on OB/GYN rotations.
  14. Participate in on-call schedules and provide coverage as needed.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution And Board Certification In Obstetrics And Gynecology.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Practicing As An Ob/Gyn Physician In A Hospital Setting.

  • Current And Unrestricted State Medical License And Dea Registration.

  • Advanced Knowledge And Skills In Managing High-Risk Pregnancies, Obstetric Emergencies, And Gynecologic Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
