
OB/GYN Hospitalist

- Provide comprehensive care to pregnant women and gynecologic patients admitted to the hospital.
- Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and manage labor and delivery, including performing vaginal deliveries and assisting with C-sections.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and make evidence-based treatment decisions.
- Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and women's health issues.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and provide emergency care when necessary.
- Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions.
- Provide support and guidance to medical residents and students on OB/GYN rotations.
- Participate in on-call schedules and provide coverage as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution And Board Certification In Obstetrics And Gynecology.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Practicing As An Ob/Gyn Physician In A Hospital Setting.
Current And Unrestricted State Medical License And Dea Registration.
Advanced Knowledge And Skills In Managing High-Risk Pregnancies, Obstetric Emergencies, And Gynecologic Procedures.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
