
Nursing Technician - Inpatient

- Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care to the inpatient population.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Administer medication as directed by the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve clinical skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. Additional Education Or Certification In Nursing Or Healthcare Is Preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Cna Certification To Be Considered For The Position. This Demonstrates A Level Of Knowledge And Skill In Basic Patient Care And Communication.
Previous Healthcare Experience: Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Particularly In An Inpatient Or Hospital Setting, Is Highly Desired. This Experience Can Include Working As A Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Or Similar Role.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Applicants Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association. This Ensures The Ability To Perform Basic Life-Saving Techniques In Case Of Emergency.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Nursing Technician, The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members Is Essential. Candidates Should Also Demonstrate Strong Teamwork Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced Environment.
