Medical Degree: A Neurosurgery Spine Physician At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Neurological Surgery By The American Board Of Neurological Surgery (Abns) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Surgery (Aobs).
Fellowship Training: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed A Fellowship In Spine Surgery Or Neurosurgery Spine Surgery From A Reputable Institution.
State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Medical License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing. This Includes Passing The United States Medical Licensing Examination (Usmle) Or The Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (Comlex).
Relevant Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Neurosurgery Or Spine Surgery Is Preferred For This Position. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Diagnosing And Treating Complex Spine Conditions, As Well As Performing Surgical Procedures Related To The Spine.
