- Assist in medical procedures and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including vital signs, medications, and treatments.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a physician.

- Serve as a positive and professional representative of the healthcare organization, promoting a positive image to patients and their families.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of pediatric cardiology procedures, equipment, and terminology.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and processing insurance information.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations, to ensure compliance and maintain a high standard of professional conduct.
Certified Medical Assistant: The Candidate Should Have A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Patient Care, Medical Procedures, And Administrative Tasks.
Experience In Pediatric Cardiology: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Pediatric Cardiology Setting Is Required For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Common Cardiac Conditions In Children, As Well As Specialized Procedures And Equipment Used In This Field.
Strong Interpersonal Skills: As A Medical Assistant In Pediatric Cardiology, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Both Young Patients And Their Parents Or Guardians. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential In Establishing A Rapport With Patients And Providing Emotional Support To Families.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Emr: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology, As Well As Experience With Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems. This Will Ensure Accurate Documentation And Efficient Management Of Patient Records.
