In this role, you will provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff, ensuring their spiritual needs are met during their healthcare journey.   1. Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families, as well as staff members, during their healthcare journey.
  2. Ensure that the spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff are met in a compassionate and respectful manner.
  3. Develop and implement spiritual care programs and services that align with the organization's mission and values.
  4. Lead and manage a team of spiritual care professionals, including chaplains and volunteers.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to address the spiritual and emotional needs of patients.
  6. Conduct spiritual assessments and provide appropriate interventions and resources to patients and families.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential records of spiritual care services provided.
  8. Participate in the development and delivery of educational programs related to spiritual care for healthcare staff.
  9. Stay current with research and best practices in spiritual care and integrate them into the organization's programs and services.
  10. Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity in spiritual care services.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and families to ensure their spiritual needs are addressed and respected.
  12. Collaborate with community organizations and religious groups to provide support and resources to patients and families.
  13. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of spiritual care services.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve spiritual care services.
  15. Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Training: A Manager Spiritual Care - Chaplain Should Possess A Degree In Divinity, Theology, Or A Related Field. They Must Also Have Completed Clinical Pastoral Education (Cpe) And Be Endorsed By A Recognized Religious Body.

  • Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing A Team Of Spiritual Care Professionals In A Healthcare Setting. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Effectively Leading And Developing A Diverse Team.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Manager Spiritual Care - Chaplain, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams. They Should Also Have The Ability To Navigate Complex And Sensitive Situations With Empathy And Respect.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Systems And Ethics: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Systems And Ethics, Including Patient Rights And Confidentiality. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Spiritual Needs And Beliefs Of Various Religious And Cultural Backgrounds.

  • Commitment To Spiritual Care: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Commitment To Providing Spiritual Care And Support To Patients, Families, And Staff In A Healthcare Setting. This Includes The Ability To Integrate Spiritual Care Into The Overall Care Plan And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals To Ensure Holistic Patient Care.
