Job Description

At Presbyterian Healthcare Services, we are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to join our team as a Manager of Informatics. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical knowledge and leadership skills, enabling them to lead a team of informatics professionals and ensure the successful completion of projects. The Manager of Informatics will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of technology trends and the ability to communicate complex ideas in an easily understandable way.We are looking for candidates that possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field• 5+ years of experience in a technical role within Information Technology• Proven experience leading teams of IT professionals• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Ability to analyze complex data and provide meaningful insights• Solid experience with database management systemsIf you are an experienced and passionate professional looking to join an organization committed to making a difference in the lives of its patients and employees, then we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of informatics professionals and ensure the successful completion of projects.
  2. Create and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations within the organization.
  3. Stay abreast of technology trends and communicate complex ideas in an easily understandable way.
  4. Analyze complex data and provide meaningful insights.
  5. Monitor and maintain database management systems.
  6. Ensure that IT practices are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Mentor and develop staff members to help them reach their highest potential.
  8. Provide guidance and support to IT personnel when needed.
  9. Prepare and manage IT budgets, as well as evaluate and recommend new technologies.
  10. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration among IT personnel.
