- Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in documentation according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain missing or incomplete information for patient records.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of healthcare documentation standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to patient records.
- Utilize electronic health record systems to manage and organize patient information.

- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other team members to resolve documentation issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and accuracy of documentation.
- Assist with coding and abstracting of patient records as needed.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all documentation activities.
- Attend meetings and trainings as required by the organization.
- Adhere to all Presbyterian Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
- Uphold the organization's mission and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.
Certified As A Registered Health Information Technician (Rhit) Or Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Healthcare Organization With Medical Records And Coding.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Coding Systems, And Hipaa Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
