GI Lab Technician

1. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the GI Lab, including assisting with endoscopic procedures, administering sedation, and monitoring patient vital signs.
2. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
3. Follow established protocols for infection control and safety to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
4. Provide patient education and support, including explaining procedures and answering questions to alleviate any fears or concerns.
5. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner, including procedure notes, vital signs, and medication administration.
6. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care, including communicating any changes in patient condition.
