- Provide high-quality, compassionate medical care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Utilize clinical expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Stay current on advancements in medical treatments and procedures through continuing education and professional development.
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practices.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Presbyterian Healthcare Services.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards at all times.
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure that all patients receive the best possible care.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in committees as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by the Medical Director or other supervising physicians.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current Certification By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Physician Assistant In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.
Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills, Including The Ability To Perform Physical Exams, Diagnose Illnesses, And Develop Treatment Plans.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Effectively Communicate With Patients And Their Families.
