
EAP Counselor
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate EAP Counselor to join our team of caring professionals. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for our valued employees. By leveraging strong interpersonal skills and their expertise in the field of mental health, the EAP Counselor will assist our staff in managing stress, resolving conflicts, and improving their overall wellbeing.The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field and be licensed as a mental health professional in the state of New Mexico. Furthermore, they must have at least three years of experience providing counseling services in a private practice or clinical setting. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a deep understanding of the confidentiality requirements of the EAP counseling field and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to Presbyterian Healthcare Services staff.
- Leverage strong interpersonal skills and expertise in the field of mental health to assist staff in managing stress, resolving conflicts, and improving overall wellbeing.
- Maintain confidentiality of EAP counseling services and adhere to all state and federal guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for EAP clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of EAP clients and adjust counseling services as necessary.
- Participate in outreach activities and educational programs related to Employee Assistance Programs.
- Remain up to date on best practices and trends in the field of Employee Assistance Programs.
Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills
Masters Degree In Counseling Or Related Field
Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) In The State Of New Mexico
Knowledge Of Evidenced Based Practice
