1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our organization's systems, networks, and sensitive information.
2. Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for potential security breaches or incidents.
3. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential threats.
4. Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement and maintain security protocols and policies.
5. Perform risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to protect against cyber attacks.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to continuously improve our security measures.
7. Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and providing recommendations for remediation.
8. Coordinate and conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
9. Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
10. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding security issues, updates, and recommendations.
11. Maintain documentation of security incidents, policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
12. Collaborate with external security vendors and partners to enhance our cybersecurity capabilities.
13. Assist in the development and maintenance of incident response plans and procedures.
14. Conduct regular audits of systems and networks to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
15. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to other departments and employees on cybersecurity best practices.
