Extensive Knowledge Of Coding Principles And Guidelines: A Coding Compliance Specialist - Quality Assurance Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Current Coding Rules And Regulations, Including Icd-10, Cpt, And Hcpcs Codes.
Certification In Medical Coding: A Professional Certification In Medical Coding, Such As Cpc Or Ccs, Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field.
Experience In Auditing And Quality Assurance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Conducting Coding Audits And Implementing Quality Assurance Measures To Ensure Accurate And Compliant Coding Practices.
