Job Description

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Quality Consultant-Intermediate to join our team and make a meaningful impact on our organization. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge and expertise to drive quality initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.   1. Develop and implement quality improvement strategies and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and overall quality of care in surgical services.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  3. Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for quality improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
  4. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  5. Provide training and education to staff on quality improvement processes and methodologies.
  6. Monitor and track progress of quality improvement initiatives and report results to leadership.
  7. Participate in quality improvement committees and work groups to develop and implement organization-wide quality initiatives.
  8. Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends in quality improvement and incorporate them into organizational strategies.
  9. Serve as a resource and subject matter expert on quality improvement processes and methodologies.
  10. Communicate with patients and families regarding quality initiatives and address any concerns or issues.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to share best practices and benchmark performance.
  12. Identify and address any barriers or challenges to quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of quality improvement efforts.
  14. Adhere to all regulatory standards and requirements related to quality improvement in healthcare.
  15. Act as a liaison between different departments and teams to facilitate collaboration and teamwork in achieving quality improvement goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Quality Management, Preferably In A Surgical Services Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Clinical Quality Improvement Methodologies And Data Analysis.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Certification In Healthcare Quality (E.g. Cphq) Is Preferred.
