Clinical Lab Assistant

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Clinical Lab Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory tests and procedures, as well as providing general laboratory support. You should be organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this position, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in clinical laboratory work. You should also be comfortable working with a variety of laboratory equipment and proficient with computers. Responsibilities:

1. Perform clinical laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
2. Provide general laboratory support such as specimen collection, processing, and disposal.
3. Maintain a high level of accuracy in all laboratory results.
4. Utilize laboratory equipment in accordance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
5. Keep abreast of advances in laboratory technology and techniques.
6. Manage laboratory inventory and keep accurate records of laboratory tests and results.
7. Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
8. Communicate with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare personnel as necessary.
9. Assist with laboratory upkeep and maintenance.
10. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
