
Cardio Technician - Cardiovascular Lab

- Perform diagnostic tests: Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, and echocardiograms, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
- Monitor patients: Observe and monitor patients during procedures, alerting medical staff of any changes in vital signs or patient discomfort.
- Prepare equipment: Set up and prepare equipment for procedures, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain records: Accurately record and maintain patient data, test results, and other pertinent information in patient records.
- Assist medical staff: Assist physicians and other medical staff during procedures, providing necessary tools and supplies and anticipating their needs.
- Educate patients: Communicate with patients about the procedures they will be undergoing, answer any questions they may have, and provide instructions for aftercare.
- Ensure cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and properly disposing of hazardous materials.

Certification In Cardiovascular Technology: A Cardio Technician At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Have A Valid Certification In Cardiovascular Technology From An Accredited Institution.
Experience In Cardiac Catheterization: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Catheterization Procedures In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Cardiovascular Equipment Such As Ekg Machines, Ultrasound Machines, And Stress Testing Equipment.
