- Assist the anesthesia team in providing safe and effective anesthesia services to patients.
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Set up and maintain anesthesia workstations for surgical procedures.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs during anesthesia administration.
- Assist with the transfer and positioning of patients for procedures.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: All Candidates For The Anesthesia Technician - Non Certified Position At Presbyterian Healthcare Services Must Possess A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Previous Healthcare Experience: Applicants Should Have At Least Two Years Of Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Surgical Or Anesthesia Department.
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Anesthesia Equipment, Procedures, And Terminology, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot Equipment And Assist With Setup And Maintenance.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential In This Role. Candidates Should Also Be Highly Organized And Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
Bls Certification: All Applicants Must Hold A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification, Which Includes Training In Cpr And Aed. Additional Certifications, Such As Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals), May Be Preferred.
