Senior Lead Piping Designer

Praxair is looking for an experienced Senior Lead Piping Designer to join our team. We’re looking for an individual with outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills to lead our team in the design and maintenance of piping systems. The successful candidate will be able to develop accurate piping models and layout drawings to support the engineering team in the successful completion of piping projects.The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in piping design. They should have a thorough understanding of piping stress analysis, pressure vessel design, pipe routing, and pipe support design. The candidate should also be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment in order to meet customer expectations.We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills who is able to communicate effectively with engineering personnel, vendors, and clients. The candidate should have a strong work ethic and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
