Construction HSE Manager

Praxair is seeking an experienced Construction HSE Manager to join our team and take our safety program to the next level. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety role in the construction industry, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a current certification in OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement safety programs for construction sites in accordance with OSHA regulations and Praxair standards.
2. Lead safety trainings and conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and evaluations.
3. Monitor and update safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Investigate and document job-related accidents and incidents, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
5. Work with the construction team to ensure that safety requirements are met and all employees are properly trained.
6. Maintain records of safety training and activities.
7. Coordinate and collaborate with external safety authorities to ensure compliance.
8. Monitor workers’ compensation and other safety-related costs.
9. Develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors, vendors, and other personnel.
10. Remain up-to-date with the latest safety technologies and industry best practices.
