
Tax Analyst

- Conduct thorough research and analysis of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance for PNC Financial Services.
- Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies and planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities for the company.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate complex tax concepts and regulations to non-tax professionals within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial and operational data for tax reporting and forecasting.
- Review financial statements and other financial data to identify tax implications and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively identify potential impacts on the company.
- Communicate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Conduct internal audits to identify any potential tax risks or issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain organized and accurate tax records and documentation.
- Participate in special tax projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Provide training and guidance to junior tax staff members.
- Collaborate with tax advisors and consultants to identify and implement tax savings opportunities.
- Remain compliant with all company policies and procedures.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all tax-related activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Tax Preparation Or Analysis, Preferably In A Financial Services Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Tax Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data.
Proficiency In Tax Software And Microsoft Excel.
