- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the client base and drive business growth for the Institutional Asset Management division.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, endowments, and foundations.
- Utilize market research and industry knowledge to identify potential clients and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet the unique needs of institutional clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing them with expert guidance on investment strategies and financial solutions.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities within existing client relationships.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the division.
- Represent PNC Financial Services at industry events and conferences to promote the company and build brand awareness.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify potential risks and opportunities for the division.
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and progress towards goals.
- Mentor and train junior business development staff to help them achieve their full potential.
- Continuously seek out new ways to improve processes and drive efficiency in the business development function.

Extensive Experience In Institutional Asset Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Institutional Asset Management, Preferably In A Senior Or Leadership Position. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Institutional Market And A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Maintaining Client Relationships.
Strong Financial Acumen: A Senior Business Development Officer In Institutional Asset Management Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets, Products, And Services. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Financial Data And Make Sound Investment Decisions To Meet The Needs Of Institutional Clients.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Interaction With Clients, Internal Stakeholders, And Industry Professionals. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Exceptional Communication, Presentation, And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Represent Pnc Financial Services And Build Strong Relationships With Clients.
