  2. Utilize forensic tools and techniques to collect and analyze evidence related to security incidents.
  3. Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and trends, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
  5. Analyze and interpret security logs and data to identify potential security breaches.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation related to security incidents and investigations.
  7. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
  8. Monitor and maintain security systems and tools to ensure their effectiveness and functionality.
  9. Develop and implement proactive measures to prevent and detect security threats.
  10. Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security.
  11. Stay current on industry best practices and standards related to endpoint and network security.
  12. Respond to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and law enforcement as needed.
  14. Participate in the development and testing of incident response plans.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge And Experience In Endpoint And Network Forensics: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Endpoint And Network Forensics, Including Data Collection, Analysis, And Interpretation. This May Include Experience With Tools Such As Encase, Ftk, Or Wireshark.

  • Familiarity With Security Frameworks And Regulations: The Security Specialist Should Be Well-Versed In Industry-Standard Security Frameworks Such As Nist And Cis, As Well As Current Regulations Such As Gdpr And Ccpa. They Should Also Have Experience Implementing And Maintaining Compliance With These Standards.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Security Specialist Involves Investigating Security Incidents And Identifying Potential Vulnerabilities. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities To Effectively Analyze Data And Identify Any Potential Threats Or Risks.

  • Experience In Incident Response And Threat Detection: The Candidate Should Have Practical Experience In Responding To Security Incidents And Mitigating Potential Cyber Threats. They Should Be Familiar With Incident Response Protocols And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Threat Detection Techniques.
