Cash Handling Experience: As A Part-Time Teller, Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working With Cash, Including Counting, Balancing, And Reconciling Transactions.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential For A Part-Time Teller, As They Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Handle Customer Complaints Or Issues Effectively.
Basic Math And Computer Skills: Part-Time Tellers Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Basic Math Concepts And Be Comfortable Using Computer Systems To Process Transactions And Maintain Accurate Records.
Attention To Detail: Teller Positions Require A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Transactions Are Processed Correctly And Customer Accounts Are Properly Maintained.
Availability And Flexibility: Part-Time Tellers Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During Peak Banking Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends. This May Also Include The Ability To Work At Different Branch Locations As Needed.
