Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the internal audit function and ensuring that all processes and procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements.   1. Oversee the internal audit function to ensure that all processes and procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Develop and implement internal audit plans and strategies.
  3. Lead and execute internal audits, including identifying areas of risk and developing effective audit procedures.
  4. Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
  5. Monitor and track regulatory changes and ensure that the organization remains in compliance.
  6. Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and collaborate with them to develop action plans.
  7. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure high-quality and timely completion of audits.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management and compliance.
  9. Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management and the Board of Directors on the findings and recommendations of internal audits.
  11. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure efficient and effective audit processes.
  12. Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge in internal audit.
  13. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  14. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal audit function.
  15. Play a key role in promoting the organization's mission and values, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Internal Audit, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Internal Audit Principles, Techniques, And Standards.

  • Professional Certification Such As Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Or Certified Public Accountant (Cpa).

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Communicate Potential Risks And Control Deficiencies To Senior Management.
