  1. Manage and maintain the stability and performance of Mongo databases.
  2. Develop and implement infrastructure solutions for Mongo databases.
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
  5. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the integrity of the data.
  6. Continuously analyze and improve database processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Stay updated with industry best practices and new technologies related to Mongo DBA.
  8. Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
  9. Collaborate with other Infrastructure Engineers to ensure consistency and standardization across all databases.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to database-related emergencies in a timely manner.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on database performance and any potential risks.
  12. Conduct regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans for Mongo databases.
  13. Train and mentor junior team members on database management and best practices.
  14. Work with vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware and software for Mongo DBA.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Technologies: In Today's Rapidly Evolving Technology Landscape, Experience With Cloud Technologies Like Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Is Highly Desirable. The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Designing And Managing Databases In A Cloud Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As An Infrastructure Engineer At Pnc, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, System Administrators, And Project Managers. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Successful Performance In This Role.
