Field Examiner (Asset Based Lending)

PNC Financial Services is seeking an experienced Field Examiner (Asset Based Lending) to join our team and help support our growing business. Requirements to be successful in this role include experience in asset based lending, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and knowledge of financial reporting. Knowledge of lending processes, loan underwriting, and financial statement analysis is also highly desired. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and banking laws is also a plus. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, who is capable of making sound decisions and demonstrating good judgment. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and recognize opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities:

-Underwrite asset based loans and review documents for accuracy and completeness

-Analyze financial statements and cash flow to determine loan eligibility -Identify and assess any potential risks associated with the loan -Evaluate borrowers’ financial documents to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations -Conduct field examinations to assess the quality and accuracy of financial records -Manage multiple loan files and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient processing -Ensure compliance with all banking laws and regulations -Maintain accurate records of all loan processing activities -Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions -Provide customer service and respond to inquiries from clients -Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful completion of loan transactions
